About

We come from design, not licences

Kokam Technology implements ERPNext for small and mid-sized businesses in Maharashtra.

Most of our clients are running on Tally, spreadsheets and paper, with a few disconnected tools in between. Nobody has a clear picture of what is owed, what is in stock, or where the money went. The information exists — it is just scattered across four people and a notebook.

We take that organisation and put it on one system: discovery, configuration, data migration, training, and ongoing support.

What makes the work different is where we spend our attention. Most ERP projects fail on adoption, not configuration. The system gets built, everybody nods through training, and a month later the office has quietly gone back to Excel. Because we come from design and process, we treat that as the actual problem: simpler screens, fewer fields, training in the language people speak, and a system nobody resents using.

How a project runs

  1. 01

    Discovery

One to two weeks with the people who will enter data every day. We map what they do now, what they type twice, and what they keep in their heads.

  2. 02

    Cleanup

Customer and item masters deduplicated, a naming scheme somebody can explain, opening balances reconciled with your accountant.

  3. 03

    Configuration

ERPNext set up around your process, with entry screens cut down to the fields that matter and views per team.

  4. 04

    Migration and go-live

Verified data moved, a parallel run where it makes sense, and a cutover planned around your billing cycle.

  5. 05

    Training

Small groups at their own desks, in Marathi or Hindi, on real transactions. A printed one-pager at every counter.

  6. 06

    Support

A phone number during working hours for the first month, then a predictable retainer for changes, reports and new modules.
